architectural firm. Their immediate need
was for a holiday invitation. The logo was
based on a red square Karen saw on the front
of their building. She added an architectural
symbol, used as an ampersand.

It opens with a flash animation of the logo. Then one of five categories of architectural
projects can be selected: residential, cultural and educational, commercial, civic and municipal,

One of Karen’s projects while working for Milton Glaser was to design this series
of cookbooks for Irena Chalmers’ Great American Cooking Schools. A program of
licensed products followed based on these graphics, and several trade books
were designed for the food industry.

did the photography and designed the CD
